This was my last update from Big's owner, I was so touched to hear how happy she is, I thought I would include it here:
" I am still in love with Big - How could you not be?
He does irritate Buster by flattening him to the ground and plucking his fur out but they are dealing with it. Funny enough, big stays away (even runs) from my dwarf Selkirk.
Big has certainly been the amusement of my friends. he flushes the toilet all the time and my water bill went up over 5 times before I caught him at it.
He does enjoy eating but he gets enough exercise so I'm not concerned. he is still very affectionate and sleeps under the covers every night. he definitely does not like the alarm in the morning and he pokes his head out, stares at me with half closed eyes and baa's at me, like a sheep.
You were right, I am hooked on the breed and if I didn't think it would be unfair to my other cats I would get another one."
I left in the part where Laurel talks about the issue with one of her other cats with Big. Savannahs can play hard and can annoy other kitty residents. It is VERY important to consider these issues and work to reduce any trouble.
